I have my air screw about a 1/4 turn out from seated. Which way do I need to go on the pilot jet, bigger? I can't remember which way to go now, been to long since I last had to mess with it. It is now a 426 and I can not remeber even what size main jet it even has in it now:ermm:

Generally when you get to about 3 turns out on the air screw it's time to go bigger on the pilot jet. 2 1/4 is the 'stock' setting so if you want to be there you'll need a smaller pilot jet.

Just FYI, it's a fuel screw not an air screw. Some carbs do have air screws (generally they are two stroke carbs) but they are adjusted in an opposite manner.

Fuel screw: in is leaner, out is richer
Air screw: in is richer, out is leaner
