hi
i have a Ohlins rear shock who originally came of a yfz450. its my friend i bough them from, and he checked a catalog and it says it fits 450r`s. but it does not tell what link you can use, neither does my friend know it.
the shock is longer than the 450r rear shock. the Ohlins shock is about 48 cm`s long, eye to eye, or mounting hole to mounting hole. thats about 18.8 inch. its what i got from this conversion:

does this shock actually fit the 450r ?
if it does. what kind of link do i need ?
im looking for a link that is made for mx riding.-
i have a 06-07 gt thunder link (i have a 05 450r). i tried to install the shock and the link together on the 450r, and if i want it to fit, i need to push the shock together/squeeze the shock so the mounting hole fits on the link where the holes is. its quite hard to push that shock in to make it fit.
please help me on this one!
if it does not fit i need to give the shock back to my friend, while i have the chance.
please let me know
hoping for some answers!
thanks guys!
