Im possibly goin to get me a set of 250r shocks and a-arms with they work good on my 300? will i have to do anything like make a new bracket for the top mount of the shock? the a-arms come with the tie rods, front brake lines, adn extra shock bushings. would i need to use the 250r brake lines or can i just use my 300's? amd just take them off the holding mounts and just use zip ties to hold them in a differnt area so the tires dont rub them and whatsoever? i need all the help i can get how much wider and tall will this make my quad? will it bolt up pretty easy?

i'm pretty sure the r arms won't bolt on the 300's frame:( i think the ones on the 300's are wider than the r's and the place where u bolt them are narrower on the 300s

250r aarms WILL fit on a 300ex. not saying it will slide right in, nothing a little tap of a hammer cant do. you can run the 250r aarms, shocks, tierods and not have to change anything. without putting a new breaket your front end will sit differently. you can use 250r aarms with stock 300ex shocks, which will lower your 300ex for even beter handling. o ya i have 250r aarms, shocks, tierods for sale $200

The 250r arms will fit. Use 250r tierods and shocks. Buy a mount for the shocks that is a cupla inches higher than stock. Someone on here named countypark or sumthin sells them and they bolt right into the stock mounts. The only thing I'm not sure about is the brake lines. Hope this helps.

you wont need the braket if you use 250R shocks, thats only for 400 shocks. the R's shocks are 14 inches and the 400's are 18

I used 400EX A-arms, 400 tie rods, and works dual rate 250R front shocks. It worked out great, I didnt have to relocate the shock mount. 400ex stock shocks are 16inches long.

250X man,

You are WAYYY off dude. The 250R arms are 16 3/8 inches long. from eyelet to eyelet. They 400s are just a little longer, not sure how much, i think they are 16 5/8 or 16 7/8.

Any way, i would get a shock relocation bracket. I have done this conversion twice using 400EX aarms and shocks the first time on a 300ex, and the next time using 250R aarms on a 250X. It helps in maintaining the correct ride height when you get the bracket. I hope this has cleared some things up.
