it is surely going to be quite the interesting year this year. Just think of all of the new factory teams and private teams coming into the industry with Kawi, KTM and Can Am joining the ranks in the last year.

I am looking forward to going to the Nat's and seeing plenty more haulers in the pits with big $$$$ in the trailers. The industry keeps growing and growing, we should all be proud to be apart of such a rapidly expanding industry!!! Keep up the Support!!

Honda will be losing atleast 2 big names next year (like they care) Borich wont back back on a Honda in GNCC next year......2008 should be a Great year!

Dont forget Polaris with their 450. They have signed 2 riders down here in Aus. I know one of them and he still hasnt got his race bike but he has been given a 525 IRS and he seemsto love that. Next year will be great to watch.... All over the world. :eek2:

According to Dee Manshack (His mechanic) Nothing is set-in-stone/final yet. Dee said in another forum that if Honda gets John some real support and money he might stay. Right now John is getting a lot of offers so it's up in the air.

No reason to, they have the market share on sport and utility quads now. Hell Honda has been in ATV's since the old 3 wheeler days in the 80's. Everyone associates Honda with quality and quads. It's the new guys like Kawasaki and Bombardier and soon to be KTM that need the factory rigs at the races to get their name in front of the fans, not Honda. And if Honda still does no factory support for MX for the next 10 years they will still be outselling all other manufacturers!

ummm kawi has been around since the 80s and ktm doesn't need anything for people to know their product is for real and can-am isn't all that new to the sport either but expect to see natalie riding yellow next year just not the one your used to

In the John Natalie Jr. Banquet video on this page he states he wont be on a honda next year. I know things can always change but i think its a pretty solid confirmation.

According to the GNCC web site, Borich also said he will not under any circumstances be on a Honda next year. So I guess this really shows what Honda plans on doing for 08.

Just read that Greg Gee is riding a Can Am in the Canadian Race this weekend, Greg Gee is supposed to be Natalies young rider that he helps out, so look for Natalie on Can Am.

there is only a very small chance that natalie will not be riding the can-am next year and this is from someone who is privy to such information and i haven't heard much about the byrd deal but i believe that is happening

Also I hope LSC doesn't drop Dunk. He was at the Bartosek Memorial race yesterday and was leading the main until he tangled with Uperman and lost his front brakes. He's a hell of a racer and a heck of a nice guy.

I can't believe that people still don't see why honda doesn't have a factory team. The reason is because they could pull their name completely out of racing and stop advertising and still sell quads and motocross bikes left and right. If honda would fire Carmichael after two perfect seasons I doubt they would give natalie a factory ride.

wasnt it also fact that RC didnt want to switch to the 450 4 stroke because he was so used to the cr250? or he wasnt comfortable on hondas 450 and went to someone he was comfortable on, but he WAS NOT fired, honda can do dumb things but firing RC was not something they done, he left on his own behalf dont be hating on the GOAT guys

I think these racers (Natalie, Borich maybe Byrd) are getting off the Honda for a FULL factory ride. Honda does not give these pro riders the support(CASH) they deserve! Honda needs to give back some to those that have been riding their ATV's.

Carmichael basically said that after he blew his knee out, Honda was ready to give up on him, so he finished out his contract, and signed with Suzuki, who offered him a better deal. Fired??? No. Honda made an offer, and RC turned it down... Kinda funny if you ask me. Honda makes a good product, but their rider support is screwy in my opinion......

I think honda lets their product speak for themselves.

Im going to start working on something related to these matters and it should be very interesting. Something never before seen in the ATV Media industry. :)
