I am wanting to do some awesome tricks in the air and I was just curious of what you guys could do. As of right now, I can do a no footer, no hander, and a pretty big tail whip. I don't really have a big enough jump to do much more.

What can you all do? Thanks for typing!:D

I've done Nac's and Nohander Landers and earlier this summer I did a Clifhanger. Unfortunatly I didn't get it on video yet but I have plenty of witnesses. I'm building a new 90' triple on my practice track and would love to try a superman or maybe a cordoba....

I do have a quite large scare on my back and a broken helmet hanging in the garage from a left footed Nac that I did (attempted) last year.

Just remember guy they build that safety equipment for a reason!

I pretty much quit freestyle, it just gets old when your by yourself and you don't have anyone to match up too. That and I don't have one good ramp to do it on thats not rutted up. I can do nothings, really good can can's, decent heel clickers, i've done a couple sloppy no footed cans to side saddle, i know I can do them but I just don't have the right jumps or drive to wanna do them anymore and thats about it besides other piddly stuff. I can do what I call half nac's also but not even close to a full nac nac like jeramy or any near that. Basicaly I just rotate my leg to point parallel with the seat.

lol, your crazy Joe if you wanna do tricks off that 90ft'er:D Have you decided to hit it yet? Also, I was woundering if you and my dad ever talked about bringing the skid loader down to your place to work on the track?
From my experience though, i've always worked my way up when I do tricks. Like for a while I was gonna try to learn a cliff hanger and I just started trying to bring my feet up to the bars without letting go and then as I got comfortable I started to get my butt off the seat some and after that I kinda gave up on freestyle, but I was gonna try to float farther and farther away from the seat and then start letting go, to then start extending out the cliff hanger. I always had the best luck by just taking my time learning tricks and trying new things over just trying to bust something out full bore the first time and getting hurt.

lol, that would be awsome to get a picture of you clearing that triple while doing a superman though:D

I got hours of tape of us doing stuf on the old 85' double. I'll have to show ya sometime when your down....

Were getting the skid loader tomorow night so I should get the secong tripple done this next week (did I tell you I was going to build a second one?).

Are you planing on riding this weekend?

Nausty
10-31-2002, 09:56 PM
lol, no I didn't know you were gonna build a 2nd triple:D That would be great if you could show me the vids of the old up hill double too!

I'm not sure if i'll be riding this weekend or not, we went ahead and bought a new elka rear shock and thats whats on the machine now so I hopefully don't have to worry about the seals blowing again and we will just use the other as a back up.

my best trick right now is a no footed can-can to no hander lander ova a 20 foot gap. but the landings suck with a 250. the shocks suck.

Juggalo, I would like to get my hands on the Spec's for that ramp I would love to build one....

Nausty
11-01-2002, 06:24 PM
hey varmit, I don't think you knew this but we are actually gonna be building our own kicker. If I remember right, his is 6ft tall and 12ft long but ours is gonna be about 5- 5 1/2 ft tall and 12ft long.

Derek
11-01-2002, 08:05 PM
Juggalo why is the backround in that first picture all erased?

11-01-2002, 09:52 PM
i can do no footers... no handers etc, heel clickers, nothings , whips, cannonball.... (cordova without the arc) almost a can can and some other tricks

Juggalo
11-01-2002, 11:24 PM
derek i don't understand what your saying. the background looks like its there to me.

nausty is right the ramp is 12 feet long 6 feet high and 5 feet wide. we are making a new one that will basically be a REV 1 i think but it will be 5 and a half feet wide. should be sweet

Im not to good with freestyle but I can do a no footer, no hander, no hander landing, a split X, i tried a cordova but the jump wasn't big enough, a nac nac, and ive tried to do a few combos of some of those small tricks into 2. :D

I busted a sic 1 handed superman-can-can/indian air heart attacking cordova on my LT80 over a 125 foot double. Its got a 300cc big bore. the power to weight ratio is sic!

Did I mention it has a +4 Houser Long trav. front end w/ Elkas?

Exactly. I was just too lazy to do what he did.

Juggalo, dood we go way back. I believe you on the pic, its probably just some dirt on the scanner or something, but I'm sure you can see what I was saying in those pics.

Juggalo
11-04-2002, 06:25 PM
do you mean like the pixlated crap around the quad? yeah, don't worry i have had many people think that pic is fake before but what can i say, its not. i think if i had saved it as a higher quality pic when i was resizing it in photoshop it woulda got rid of that crap.

Juggalo: You're sick man. A Rev. 1 copy built for quads would be insane, although I'd probably never hit it. What is it, like 8' tall?

Let's see some pics if you get the SSG, I don't think I've ever seen one done on a quad. If you have enought hang time, I'm sure you could get it. Good luck.

Juggalo
11-04-2002, 08:09 PM
actually i think we are goin for the rev 3 ramp now. freakin huge! its made for a 70-80 foot gap. the plans are $250. hopefully i won't die. and yes the seatgrab is coming. i might have to wait for the new ramp tho. i just don't know about the ramp i have now it might not have the proper kick for the ssg. i tried a superman on it once and ate it. and i know if i have one hand hangin off the damn quad i will get jacked if i crash. we'll see tho i'm going to make sure i get it on video.

heres a pic of the rev 3 folded neatly for easy transportation.

i can do a nohander, no footer, thats about it theres no real big jumps around here, plus everyone thinks im crazy for doin them cause the jumps are so small.lol

11-06-2002, 06:08 AM
300EX_Man, I'm near Newton. I'll PM you with directions we plan on riding on saturday.... Maybe well see ya.

Also eveyone that said some of these photos are fake, should take one of theres and blow it up. Some scanners do weird thing to Pics. There was a photo of a pro doing a trick onver a massive jump on another thread that everyone thought was fake becuse of the way the quad looked when you blow it up but if you do that to most any picture it will look the same. Also check out the tree line, its the same way.

I'm not saying that there all real, Just don't go by that only...

Here is a Pic of me hitting the double that I've done most of my tricks on. The gap was about 60' but if I hit it full in forth I could land close to the flat at about 95'.
I have change it since then, Now it goes the other way and I'm working on two other 70-80 footers on the track...

Varmit,
That picture looks like you are jumping out of the trees!

Varmit57
11-09-2002, 08:05 PM
No, its off a uphill double, The take off was about 8' with a 60' gap then a 30' table for a landing. In the gap it was about 25' in the air, it was a rush... Now the track runs the other way and it doesn't have as big of take off now... But still a lot of fun.....

Nice Pic's Nausty, That new jump doesn't throw you as high but its just as long... You looked good on it right up tell the last one...
Maybe if we get that Kicker built this winter it will give us some more lift..
To bad about the collar bone, Brian broke his earlier this summer and was off his bike for 4 weeks and back racing in 6.

trueblue450
11-11-2002, 08:36 AM
Hey Varmit .. how big was that jump that naustys on.. He said 80 on the bottom of the downside.. I didnt think it felt that big, but maybe. It is going to be a nice track once you finish everything. That little kicker you built is pretty fun but needs to be longer i think.

Varmit57
11-11-2002, 09:43 PM
Jordon landed close to the flat, I mesured it at 95'. I saw nausty land close to that but it was throughing him alittle sideways... well have to figure that out before he gets back on his quad.

I wanted that kicker to have a smaller take off but the car is sticking up to much, maybe I'll add a little dirt to the front and make it longer....
