Just wondering how excatly these work. Do they slide back and forth to make for better steering? If so do they ends wear fast?

Those are heim joints. They are just a way to connect the arm to the frame. If you ride any real muddy situations, these would not be the choice for you, since there is no protection on the joint itself. A sealed needle-bearing system is much better in my opinion.

EDIT: On second glance, those look like the whole arm may be adjustable front to back by taking out a spacer and putting it on the other side of the joint. I've never seen before:confused:

JD arms have that feature, but only on the top a-arm. I think heims on the lower arm are a terrible idea.

my ASR's had those joint on the top but they were center mounts.. but they didn't have them on the bottom..
