Ok guys dont run off and get a C-Dale too fast Honda has already has a new sport quad i seen it in pic from the Tokyo auto show. I looks great i dont know the motor size but the frame looks to be the same as the 400ex but te is some new HOT motor in it. I will see if i can get them scaned for you.

Takeoff, hey dude I dont think it is true, possibly cuz my local shop dealer was taling about that, a 450ex. I dont know if its true though. He may not be lieing people, but maybe he is but I belive him mostly:blah

nos im not gonna doupt you but im not gonna go to one side or the other but on this site noone is gonna believe you untill you show them a pic. As far as im concered i HOPE they put one out becasue then a 400ex go alot cheaper and i can get one sooner.But im not geting my hopes up because last time i did I got let down when they only anounced 2 new ranchers. So if you can get a decent photo people might beleive you.

Honda is gonna come out with a quad with reverse... thats the wrong quad for me. In atv action, i was reading an aritlce between the z400 and the cannondale, and one of the MAJOR COMPLAINTS WAS THAT THERE WAS NO REVERSE ON THE CANNONDALE!!!!!!!BS REVERSE IS FOR HOMOS( my opinion.. not flaming)
im done waiting on Honda, next year might be a cannondale...........
No it may be bs, but hey there is a chance, and I'd rather take the chance and not the b.s. cuz I'd love for honda to come out iwth a new quad even though dirt wheels hasnt said ne thing about it, and they get a hold of erevrything

I Am thinking B.S. I would love to see this happen. But if ya think about it. Truthfully. Why would Honda Release a New Sport Quad after they already released their line up for his year. and next year. Then have so many 400Exs left in crates waiting to sell them. THey canlt afford to take the loss on the 400Exs. As soon as the 400Ex price starts to major drop then you can expect sumthing but not until then.
Becuase they're losing so much money right now, noone is really buying them, member "Honda quad prices Plunge" and if you look they did go down. they arent even selling any of them ne more, so If you think about hey maybe they are, maybe they been working on it and it just got perfected and wanted to wait a year for test riding but instead they want to let it out now cuz they might make it back to number 1 seller.

just let it come out when it comes out... I could care less, by the time you mod if for mx almost everything is replaced anyways as you get to A class which I will pry be in after next year or the year after, when i'm 17 or 18. Everything we know now is just speculation and we won't even really know how good it is until we can ride them yourselves seeing how biast a lot of the mags are.
Yea nausty is kinda right but yea dirt wheels like I said would of got ahold of it, but maybe it was honda' project quad for next year or sumthing and instead they finsihed it already:huh :macho

They would...but published magazines have a 1-2 months lead time to make it though all the editing and publishing process. Think about it. Just about everything you read or see in a magazine is a month or so old .example new suzuki 250, haven't seen it in any magazine yet it has been all over the net for about a month now. Just my opinion:)

REVERSE RULES, period. At least with the trails I ride. And on the honda issue, we don't believe until we see, and even then it's tough unless it's Honda's site.

Honda tests all there stuff in California. Thats where the R&D all there stuff cars, motorcycles, and atvs. They will probley be manufacuring the new sport quad in NC where the 400ex is made. Why would they show it in Tokyo anyway there isn't any ATV dealers there in Japan there is no where to ride exept one small island set aside for 4-wheelers but i am pretty sure only rich japanese people can afford to go there.

Honda finally built a full blown racing quad. How do I know this? Notice the checkered flags, and the adjustable ride height?
It even has the "oh crap, im in trouble" eject switch.

well the last dealer show had the record amount of people on the site
for nothing there ws no new quad besides some gay rancher, in other words when i see them at my dealer ill buy one, but there is no use for hype when there isnt one out

that stock tires guy is right honda hasnt done a darn thing for me, just like all the other companies havent. sure i like honda but if a 2002 or newer raptor or any canondale was for sale for like less than 4g i would sell my 400 for it anyday it is stupid to be brand loyal, not stupid to be american loyal though , darn civic street racers , they are so dumb i saw one crash the other night , it was terrible yet i say they deserved it .

man i wish a company would come out that had everything. an awesome sport quad that could beat anything out there, is sold for cheap, and made in america. thats one prob with the dales, if you wont a good one, your about 8K poorer.
And they actually care about the consumer, they have a factory race team and have a great warranty. but i know this will never happen but oh well. better dream while you can.:)

raptakilla, support companies that will support YOU! Cannondale is the only one that makes a decen effort to give back to the quad world. We give them sales, they give use support in return.
My next quad will not be honda, suzuki, kawie, now yamaha....hint hint
But a new quad for me is a dumb idea (My R will be built by this month).

Major props to cannondale!!! if an american company made a 2 stroker, i would buy it, untill then i wont ever buy a new quad ever again. and only american built cars.
Here in the MI area we understand how important it is to buy american built cars, where i live IS/WAS GM country, and right now their is over 3800 homes that have bee forclosed, poverty is at an all time high, every cornor store accepts food stamps and our whole city/ area is going under. Now go out and buy a new toyota :mad:

So to continue with the idea of what this thread already was. I was browsing a magazine (atvillustrated - I think) That says Suzuki is planning a Quadracer 750 for 09 to be the big bore brother to the 450 and the upcoming 250. This is to combat the raptor 700. There was also speculation that there will be a 4stroke revival of the banshee in the 800 cc range.
Is it possible that there will be a battle for biggest fastest among the top 4?
