Does anyone know what gears hve been going out in the LT-R's

I heard it was third gear, but I am wanting to replace the most vulnerable gears with billet ones

Billet gears? Billet would never hold up to those stresses.

I thought the common problem with the LTR's was some sort of shift pin locating piece, but not sure.

and why not? they run em in 120+ hp'd banshee's all day long. :cool:

didn't know there was a tranny recall. I thought billet was the strongest gears you could get? I know GT Thunder, yoshi, and some other places have a modification they do for $300 or so.
