WOW... I am disappointed... I offered my dealershipr $17k for a 525 and a 450 (they dont even have a 450 in stock) and they said minimum they would take is $20k.

Ive never experienced this....

$9K for each quad, 8% for the state + registration, $1200 too $1400 for dealer prep $20K is not a bad deal. At $17k he may lose money not sure of the mark up on the KTM quad.

$1400 for dealer prep?????????????????????????? Ok so 14 hours of what @ $100/hr? The guys at LA cyclesports can put a quad together in like 30 minutes. I would tell them to sell it in the box.

Most of the dealers here charge around $500 too $700 for set up. Then the loan bandit wants to add a fee for doing the paper work. You are luck if you get a kiss most of the time it is a cheap shirt you end up with. I use mine for rags.

Wow!!!!1 in glad were from pa. the dealers are charging around 150.00 to prep.sounds like a rip off. rember the first run of the ktm is limited to only several dealers. its not going to all ktm dealers.so the price is going to be a little high..

freight and prep is a bogus fee. I use to sell motorcycles. I would never pay for it. The guy who preps it gets about $9 bucks an hr and they don't do much to it.

This is true, KTM issued a No sale order to all dealers on units in stock. My dealer called and asked if the could come pick mine up. I had not ridden it and said I would not. So I am waiting to hear from them a fix is available.

Technicaly there is four in Minnesota, but only 2 of them are going to carry the atvs.

Delano and Cambridge. Chippewa Falls in Wisconsin also carries them. Rochester and Lakeville are the others dealers that deal KTM just not the atvs yet.

Never go to Motoprimo in Lakeville. Just a joke what they call customer service.

Prepping a quad consist of oil, checking controls, air the tires, and a good dealer will oil the airfilter. $150 is to much in my book

I wish more people would patronize the "old school" ktm dealers, those that were here before KTMs were cool. They seem to know more and give better service then the new guys.

I got quoted for 9800.00 OTD

I honestly thought that was WAYYY too much. I was going to pick one up this weekend, but the recall, like everyone said, has held the dealers from selling.

Ive called about 7 places in Florida, only ONE place had one in stock, another had a demo on the way, and one had already sold two. The rest told me that KTM hadnt released them yet.

I wanted to get this in time to race it next weekend. I was planning on breaking it in during the week...Looks like I will be missing the race!

I called every dealer in the state and the lowest price was $9,500.00 OTD. Highest was $11,300.00 OTD. Some said they weren't released yet. The ones that do have them will sell them, you just can't pick it up until they get the part for the brake.
Those that posted the $8,500.00'ish price OTD, what dealer? Please post the dealer you bought from if the price is legit. It might be worth it to buy from out of state and have it shipped.

I paid $8645.00 total. The $45.00 was a delivery fee also. Bought mine in Loveland Colorado. I know it might be a ways from some of you but when some of these dealers are wanting $10 grand or more. Not a big store but it is jammed full.

Bums me out but I guess I'll be droppin 95 hun tomorrow. These guys just will not budge! (If someone knows of an AZ dealer that's movin' them at $9K or less OTD, please post asap. They did tell me that any KTM Hard Parts I want they'll sell to me @ their cost though. Although I won't be buying their nerfs or bumper since I see Rath already has these. I'm thinking about their "MX A-arms though." I think the price was around $550.00 or so. 540 Big Bore sounded neat ($690.00) but I'd prefer something with more compression.
Anyone else get (or should I say, "order") any of the KTM Hard Parts?

I think us west coast guys are going to pay a premium on these, once they hit the dunes, I think the price will go up.

my dealer wanted $10,589+ tax and licensing. WAY too much if you ask me.

If i could find one for 8600 id buy it for my gf she wants to upgrade from her z400.
