Which one would be better for a 400ex??


HMF sport series, OR FMF power core 4 ?

I would say nither one of em is better then the other. I bet the hmf is louder.:D

HMF by far best power for the money. Gives great gains yet doesnt take a huge dent out of your wallet

yeah i was headed for the hmf cuz wer i ride at our slate dumps the louder you are the more bad **s haha

I know loud is cool, but remember loud = complaints = shut down riding areas. Says the guy with the X-4, lol I really do need to get a 2nd riding pipe, and save the x-4 for racing.

its a shut down slate dump.. closed since 96' but i only ride trails no parks or ne thing.. occasionally we'll cut through sumwer but thats all

Loud=power. If they made quite pipes that made power, I would buy it.

I couldn't disagree more, every year now new quieter pipes are coming out and are making the same or more power.


HMF is one of the best slip-ons you can purchase for a 400ex, dyno proven.

I have the fmf P.C 4 pipe it gives a nice gain without being too obnoxious kind of a low tone rumble the stocker I had on without the spark arrestor was louder with very little gains there but you could here it a mile away not always a good thing
