Man if your looking for big power you should try this very fast this thing has a stroker 440 piston 4mm stroker crank from trinitty racing big valves big time port job exhaust port and intake port match , 39 kehine , 410 lift cam and LRD pipe on a MX set up this thing is so fast i had to Chang gearing 16-36 this thing will smoke a 450 and never quits pulling

thats good to know i am saving to do the 460 stroker kit myself and also have it built by trinity. How would you rate trinitys work? And have you actually race any 450s yet.

I do my own work got stroker piston , crank ,and studs from Trinity racing and my own porting and have raced plenty 450s and the 460ex has a long pull and runs past the 450s the main thing on this set ups is the cam you have to degree the cam in very important that's were the clean power is

iv heard of a company that will bore the cylinder walls and make it a 460 with the stock stroke.

DO NOT GO WITH TRINITY!!!! they screwed me doing the 465 stroker for my 400. got it back and a stock 400 would beat me. the timing was off when got it. then they said they would fix it and dyno tune it. Graph i got from dyno was like 32* when the dynoed it so power showed way higher. I had 41FCR carb on it and it wouldnt run after they messed with it. They put a hardened cam and didnt put the race springs in like they said they were or the hardened rockers so the cam ground the heck out of my rockers. They said they would fix it for $1000....This was supposed to be done when i got it. So i sent the head to dan lamey at DASA and he said all they did as far as port work was clean it up. so i had him port it and install +1 valves since he had to do the shortened valve guides for the race springs and such. got it back and had a great local company dyno tune it and now it is where it should be. I spent 1 year screwing with trinity after i got it back. had to deliver quad out of state to them and pick it up 2 weeks later when they did the retiming and dyno work. all out of my pocket because they were going to "help" me. got it back ran like crap after they dyno tuned it. spitted and sputter had oil all over the quad, motor, grips, custom seat cover and they didnt even think it was bad. DO NOT USE THEM. I WOULDNT SEND ANYTHING TO THEM OR REFER THEM AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO ME.

How do you degree the cam on a 400ex?

this is when your greed Com's in won ting better and smother power. This isn't hard to do but go to pingle or snitze racing and buy the learning video on how to degree your cams

Im telling you dont contact trinity, there are sooooo many better companies than trinity racing. I was with epdp99 when we toured their shop and it was embarasing. I wish we would have taken pics of how we turned in the quad and how we got it back.. Total garbage company!!
