the honda manual called for special wrenches and bedofe i have had trouble getting the antilock nut off, do i need special tools if so ill buy them its like 250 for a shop to do it and bre a self respecting racer i cant pay that please help

If you have a cresent wrench that goes that big it will work. You may need to heat the lock nut the first time to loosen the locktite.

Get some g-froce wrenches and save yourself a headache.

Agreed, I think motionpro also sells them. check out www.rockymountainatv.com they have them.

A lot of people use crescent wrenches too, but those will tear the surface of the lock nuts up.

i picked mine up used on ebay. They are made for the job and are easier to use than cres. wrench.

one more question on a separate quad i got a rpm lock nut and what should i use to get it off the same wrenches

Now that lock nut is a diff story. Some come with allen head bolts to loosen them but I am not sure. Maybe 400exrider707 will chime in with that info, he seems to know a lot about this subject.

If your still using the stock axle nut, trash it. They are a pain. Anti-fades make taking the rear end apart a breeze.
