that seems quite big to me...but if you are giong to just trail ride or do XC where you are worried about ground clearance. Make sure you have clearance on your nerf bars also...

i had 20s (razr2 rear) and they were too big. they were always hitting my nerfs and i burnt too many clutches out cuz of em. i suggest u get 20s over 22's ; to tell you the truth...i suggest u get irazrs.

I had 22 rear razrs and 23 front. way too big except when i went down to the river bottom and climbed rutted hills. i have 20 razrs rear now and i'm gonna go down again to 19 mxr4. the razr take 4 ever to wear out tho and i never got a puncture. make sure you go down a sprocket if you get the 22's

Here's a pic of mine with 20x10x10 rear and fronts are 21x7x10. I'm going to be running 18s or 19s for next year with beadlocks. Those are pro armor nerfs also. Just ignore me being an idiot :p

EDIT- the tires are Razrs fronts are 6 ply b/c the weight difference between the 6 and 4 is very minimal. But the rears are a 4 ply because I wanted to save weight by minimizing rotating mass. This is my 3rd set of rears. my other 2 sets are 6 ply. and I only have 1 other set of fronts. These tires really hook up on in a wetter condition.I notice it the most on my local track which is extremely sandy. I have to feather the gas if it is dry while cornering but as soon as I get some water on the track it's WIDE OPEN everywhere and can hook up so much better. But they are a very predictable tire in my opinion. I'm afraid to try any other tires. any questions just ask.:D

I too was going to run 22's but when i bought my nerfs i dropped to 20's for the clearance, but I already had the skid plate problem. I dropped my rotor side 1/2" and rewelded and i still hit rocks and have clearance issues, after the help of a BFH I now Have 1/16" clearance between my rotor and skid.

Does Anyone Make a Skid that Won't BEND????

http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p133/trx400extreme/Picture064.jpg i recomend razr rears and razrII front. i ride trails, snow, mud, some MX conditons and these tires have not failed me yet. by the way im running 20 rears and 22 fronts and ive always had plenty of ground clearence.

Ya dude 21" razr 2 fronts are like 22"s actual measure. I have 22" rears and they are good but I am going back to 20" razr2's in a little while.

Heres a picture of them:eek2:
