Will 250R shocks fit on my 450R? They are 16 1/4 in Elka standard travel. Would the valving be off or would they be useable?

They will bolt on, but will not be correct. valving and springs will be off, and I dont think they're the same length either.

They are allittle short but they will bolt up. The valving and spring rates are pretty similar.

What is the difference in length? Doesn't the weight of the two machines vary, and wouldn't that effect the spring rates?

In a sport quad with similar chassis the weight of the rider comes into play more. They won't be perfect but they will be close
