hey guys.

I looked at an hmf the other day, and studied it. It seems basically its about a 2in hole all the way back with packing around the outside, thats it.

Even though i have an exhaust system, im looking to make my own cheaply and sell them.

I was thinking of buying stock exhausts, and gutting them.
Then i would take some kind of steel mesh, wrap it in a 2in hole, and insert it in the pipe. Lastly, i would fill the surrounding area with packing and cut the baffle out of the tip.

I would install it, and do a test.

What do you guys think about the idea?
Would you but something like that?

Only problem using a stock exhaust is, it's steel and looks like crap...

I'd suggest getting a length of aluminum tube (or stainless if you want..) and do it that way mod it all.

But seriously I wouldn't pay for a straight though exhaust considering how easy they are to make, especially if you have an old pipe laying around. JMO
