04vrs06 same mods Rossier stg 2hc

Just wanting to know everyones opinion on which bike is faster. We were drag racin my bikes today switchin off riders and comparing the two bikes. What do you think is faster?? both machines stock gearing 20" tires. 06 has kibblewhite valvetrain and a 12.1 wiesco piston. 04 has stock piston

The 06 is quicker to start with AND has more mods, if its not beating the 04 then theres something wrong with it :P

It is extremly close though. The 06 has a bit more low end power but on top the 04 is faster. Definatly nothing wrong w/ the 06 d3. These 2 machines are so close in speed it is krazy!! All I am saying here is when equally modded the 04/05's are just as fast as 06/07, maybe a little faster.

the 06 will be quicker, more compression, better gearing

at 300' I say the 06 by 3 lengths on average

bump the comp to match the 06 and drop a tooth on the front sprocket and its a coin flip

the 06 is a deffinite improvement on the 04.. I had both but sold the 04..
revs faster, better comp., better carb, better gearing, better air flow through the head, better spark curve. ect.

the 04 has torque and is easier to ride in a long race.

I rode both of your quads KrazyKeith, the 04 is just faster, accept it! lol I think it was made on a good day! :blah:
