will AC propegs made for the 400ex fit an 86 250r frame?

I'm not 100% sure, but probably more like 99.9% sure that they willl not fit, unless you do some modifications. Also, the 86-87 nerf bars are different from the 88-89 nerf bars, so when you are looking make sure you get the ones for the correct year.

not to confuse you anymore:D my bro bought some pro pegs for his ex that were supposed to be for a r,which year:confused: and jerry rigged them on and they fit with very slight modifications:devil: i once measured them and the foot pegs were located in a different place than my 88, so 86,87:confused: :confused: :confused:

I've never heard or seen of any after market companies making them with foot/heel guards, although the 88-89 models came with stock foot/heel guards. Don't know if that helps any...

89 ones did, most people ripped them off immedietely. Supposibly... 450r nerfs will go on with some minor welding to the front mount. I have seen one thread about this and the guy had problems.
