Can these Rear Brake Master cylinders be rebuilt, or do you guys just throw them away when they quit pumping?

I got one off of E-bay, and it was suppose to work, but for some reason I can't get it to pump any fluid.. I took off the black plastic part, where the hose connects, and blew threw it, but no air went through, I even did this as if the brake was being pushed and nothing.. Any Ideas??my next move is to use an air compressor and blow it out, but dont know if i will damage it..what else could I do to it, if it does not work?

I'm not sure if blowing air through it is a good idea, i'm thinking not.

They are rebuildable and it's not too difficult nor expensive. A repair manual will be very helpful. The only minor issue I had was getting the rubber boot folded correctly. You'll also want a pair of 90 degree snap ring pliers.

You can get the rebuild kit from C&D Racing.
