i dont mean to sound like a noob, but when you trap the beavers and ****, how do you kill them?

normally you catch them in a conabare(sp) trap witch is like a full body trap and it crushes they're rib cage and kills them. but when you catch bob cats and stuff in leg hold traps you have to shoot them.

When I catch something and I want to Kill it, I just force it to take apart and then re-install my AC Blackline pro peg nerfs. I left a raccoon in the garage to do it yesterday, and when I went to check on his progress it turned out that he'd hung himself with an extension cord. The note read "I'd rather had you shoot me".

dude what the ****, shooting something is one thing but jesus christ that is just inhumane, i mean really...how would you like to walk through the woods and get stuck in a trap that crushes your rib cage.

Conibear traps are a very quick killing method. They can break peoples arms. And with foothold traps, they really dont hurt the animal very much, i've gotten my hand caught in em a few times and its not bad,..I've caught dogs before, and let em go and they just run off like normal.
The only form of trapping that i dont like is using a snare, snares are placed on trails that animals walk by and they walk through the loop and it just gets tighter and tighter and wont loosen up. What i have against them is the fact that a dog could walk into one...

My dad hunts for a living, he traps for a living also...which I consider hunting in a way...I have some pictures of his deer, just mounted...meh, you all may consider them big.

Here's his website.

He's got four of his "prize" deer mounted in his place, a 16 point that was killed in Mississippi, a 12 point with a giant spread that was killed in Louisiana and two others, an 18 point from Kansas, and a 28 point from Kansas. The 28 point scores 241. Big? He's in Kansas right now with his blackpowder, he told me he saw a MONSTER deer, it was a 10 point but it had a GIANT body. He's saving it for me when he takes me to Kansas for rifle season this year.

Atchison, and some other place that I forgot the name of. If you do go to Kansas, I suggest you try hunting in corn fields, fresh cut corn fields, that's where he's been seeing the big bucks. Also in soybean fields.
