With only 20 of them being built in '08 , I'd really like to see how many zeros the price tag will have . I'm guessing the price on the car will be a 7 digit number.

Yank Yank, get yourself a real muscle car...I could buy a vette and put twin turbos on it and make over 800hp and still have less than 80,000.00 into it. Mustang, a friend of mine has a 86 thunderbird turbo coupe that spanks porches in auto cross.

lol your comparing a chevy to a Porsche? Sure you can slap a TT in a corvette and it will go fast. You can make anything fast. But the porsche will out handle a vette anyday.  Yep even the almighty z06!!1!1!11:eek2:
Plus everyone and there mom has a vette. You don't look twice when you see one, but when you see a Porsche rolling by you look twice.

Ohhhh ... Mmmmm .... Ahhhh !!!!

Now that is a true exotic muscle car. There was one for sale at an auto show here in town last year and they wanted $195 000. I thought that was a rediculous price. After the show left I looked online and the exact same car was selling for $435 000 and the cheapest I found was $320 000. At $195 000 the car was a STEAL !!!!!!!!

If I ever win the lottery , you can bet your paycheck that I will have one sitting in the garage.

Seeing a picture is one thing ... seeing it in person is a whole different ball game ... it looks 100 times better in person. Carbon Fibre is used on damn near everything and the seating position is AWESOME . Everything on the inside is so well layed out it's almost as if the car was built around the driver .

If your act of backing up REQUIRES looking through the back window, instead of using your mirrors.....then you belong in nothing more then a Yugo.:ermm:

Not true at all... Your mirrors still dont show everything behind you. I got points off on my drivers test for looking in my mirrors too much while parallel parking, I didn't physically turn my head and look out the rear window enough.

according to porsche spec's the 911 turbo is still faster than the gt3......its got it by 0.1 seconds in 0-60 and by 2mph....lol

but your right cant compare the vette to the porsche, i love vette's but look at the horses porsche can pull form a V6 giving it the advantage of being lighter, better handling, and no one can match porsches suspension. but at the same time think of what they could do with a V8 power plant

Ok.....judged by the exact same people that will mark you wrong when you select --B: 6 feet is the correct distance to give a bicyclist. When the answer is actually 3 feet. Yep, more distance is wrong in their eyes.

Just because the DMV says that you must look back, doesn't mean that it is an absolute necessity. If your driving a 7 digit priced car such as this, and you must resort to looking over your shoulder to know the whereabouts of the car.....then you, flat, should not be in that car.

I've never touched a prostitute.

But I could tell you what can come from it, and why you shouldn't touch one in the first place.

Experience with something doesn't always mean it's better knowledge gained.

it has nothing to do with the thread. im just tired of lil kids on this site acting like they know everything. it just annoys me. idk how a 14 yr old can say what he thinks of a car when he cant even drive yet. like i said. when u get ur liscense u dont care what u drive. id drive a freegin metro if i didnt have anything else.

but the lambo would be sweet to have for a daily car. lambos have always been my favs.

It must be one of those things , that when someone has you backed into a corner and you have no other response for them , you just bash what they ride.

Kind of like in primary school when a kid tries to prove another wrong , but the other kid proves he's right . The one kid feels dumb so he calls the other kid's mother fat ....just because he has no other comeback. It's one of those situations .

I've driven an 07 Z06 and GT-3. No one would ***** about either, though you get more bang for the buck with the Vette. As far as wow factor, here's some perspective, when the new Z06 first hit we drove it up to our friend's party with the Ferrari Club of Southern California. Since it was his birthday, there was a sea of red Italians, a couple of beautiful Germans and this one simple black Z-06....and that hogged all of the attention that night. To a man most of the Ferrari guys had one on order. Sold the black one 2 months later for a profit and got a beautiful 07 Z-06...Porches are nice, but much like a Vette, are a dime a dozen here.

As for capability in all aspects, my father in law is a former Indycar driver and race car builder and I ask him about cars all the time. He said if he had his choice, he'd take a Z-06 chassis and motor, strip off the body and build a total carbon/kevlar body and tub to shave weight and have the perfect road racer. His take on Porches are they are nice, but still too damn tail happy which is aggrivated by the rear engine.

And yes, money can make most anything fast....had a 1986 944 Turbo I bought for 8k. Had motor work from Huntley racing including a massive turbo and that 4 banger with totally stock looks could hammer most anything on the road with 450 rear wheel horsepower. Made all the rice burner wannabe's jaws hit when I would come on boost as they were starting to top out....LOL

Truth is, most of us would jump through the roof if any of these cars were handed to us......

Side note, knew a guy that died when he crashed his Porsche GT into a wall at California speedway....car didn't look too bad but still destroyed...very sad.

Age and experience can play into knowlege, but don't take comments personal.

You want to see someone sweat??? Back in 1990 when I was 17, my father's office was above an exotic car dealership.

The owner had purchased a European Spec Lamborghini Countach 5000s from a private seller. I told him that before he could sell it he would have to have the emissions and injection sysytem changed along with US spec bumpers. He thought I was wrong, so I bet him a 30 minute test drive I was right....well sure enough I was correct, so he let me take it out for a spin on the local freeways and I have to tell you, it was one of the coolest things ever.

Not the easiest car to drive, but man, back then it was the chit!!!
