xti with kit lens and 70-300 lens.
pappy watcha think? its not IS, n its not L glass, but for 175 I couldnt pass it up.

IS stands for image stabilization.
L i believe is just a higher quality glass. I"m sure pappy can elaborate on this.
Thanks, that's what I thought IS was. Is that a rare or common feature on these cameras?
Would like to know more about the L glass...

IS is more and more common, but more expensive. for instance, the canon IS lens, in the same zoom i have with my Tamron, was 600$.

Just as I HAD a 400ex, now a i have a 440ex.

i'm workin on it pappy!
took it to my cousins soccer practice last night, got some pretty good shots but the sun was not cooperating, going to a jr drag race where my other cousin is racing tomorrow, so i hope to get some good ones there. i'll be sure to post them up!
