IMS Tank Leaks.....

I just put an IMS tank on my 05 450R and it leaks at the petcock. O-Ring is fine, but it looks like the spacers that the bolts go thru do not let the bolt screw down far enough to create a seal. I ditched the spacers and put some RVT on the petcock to help it seal, washered it up and was able to tighten it much tighter. I'm going out for a few hours so I'll let it dry and see what happens.

Has anyone had this happen? If so, what did you do?

I put one on my quad in 2004. Still no problems.

Just put it on, the RVT and removal of the spacers did the trick. This is the first time I have had any problems with an IMS tank and it was probably my fault. :D
