Well I would say LSR but for the price a G Force axle is excellent:)
My favorite axle is the brand that is strong and has a lifetime warranty.

According to a strength test conducted my RPM, the order of best goes ...
1. RPM (Dominator II)
2. Team (Firestick)
3. Laeger
4. Durablue (Eliminator)
5. Lonestar (Axcalibur)
6. G-Force
Depends on what you are doing with it and how much you want to spend. For an average amateur, a $200 G-Force is probably good enough over a $350-450 RPM Dominator 2. Definitely look at warranties as well -- lifetime against bending and breaking is key.

"Lifetime Limited Warranty" -- you may want to see what the "limited" part means.
