How hot does that thing get? the boost pressure on what comp. & h.p #s I get around a solid 35 horse to my rear wheels with an 11', 1 440 but Im also runnin heavy mud 22,s which ate up up to 5 h.p on the dyno is what the Pikes peak champ around here said( he runs a shop ) & jetted mine last

with a turbo it gets more than 35HP at the wheels. try 48hp with a garret turbo

the amount of horsepower an engine produces is not determined by a brand of turbo. :devil:

I was just wondering what is the boost p.s.i & what comp it is runnin theres no doubt it makes more power than mine & do you get a sun tan off of that thing? it is air cooled

garret turbo for the 400ex makes around 14psi

uh, i think turbo 530r's 450r with a 530 kit on it, and topped off with a turbo, i believe it makes over 120hp. but i think it also has efi, intercooler and lots of other goodies:D

OHHH BOY! Turbos! I think this is a mistake you guys, you see aftermarket companies develop Hop-up kits for a machine to be reliable and ridable. The power coming from that motor probably isn't very ridable, and just a sure way to blow it up. Trust me a turbo is not made to be on a 400EX, you don't see anybody make a kit for a turbo EX do you? If however this does not change your mind, I hope you are running a low compression piston in there and a cam with long duration.

You are wrong because I can name 2 companies that make and sell the turbo kit for a 400ex. Check out Garrett Turbos, Turbo Tech and actually there is 1 other. Garrett Turbos actually has it online to buy so check them. The others you have to call. The other company is like K something

We live in arizona and yes it does a low compression piston and a aggressive cam to allow it to breathe better. The kit was custom made by a guy that does turbos on rhinos.
