I have a 91 cr500 engin and was wondering dos ENE one make different gear ratio gears or a tranny out of something else need top end

89-92 CR500 trannys were a little bit closer ratio. What I know for sure is the differences between 92 and 93 on. You should be able to check part numbers to determine if your 91 uses the same gears as the 92. I think it does. 85-88 where also wider ratio but I don't know if those were the same ratios as used in the 93+.

I assume the 93+ gears would fit fine in your 91.

92------ 4th: 1.000, 5th: .870
93+ ---- 4th: .955, 5th: .792
