Harvest Time!!....Any farmers?

Well it's harvest time again and I was wondering if there's any other farmers here besides me. Tell what equipment you use, your crops, acres, whatever you want.

We are doing almost 10,000 acres this year of corn and soybeans. We run two John Deere 9860 combines with 40' heads. John Deere 8520 tractor on a 1,000 bushel grain cart. Our neighbor runs 4 semis for us.

Nice setup. I am not a farmer but I am familiar with horticulture equipment. I am currently a horticulture student in my local trade school. It is a lot of fun and a lot of work LOL.:p :)

holy ****...we farm bout 2000 acres got 1 gleaner r65 30' head a jd 8130 on a 650bushel grain cart and 2 semis...we started last tuesday (sep 4)...and were considered and good sized opperation around here...u got one huge farm there

We farm about 1000 acres and run a 9210 case four wheel drive and some old Gleaner G,F,C2. We have 2 old wheat trucks. You can call us a low budget farm. All we farm is wheat and run some cattle

we only farm like 200 acres just as a side job. but we also own a farm supply buisiness and sell and build grain bins, legs and just about anything that has to do with grain handling and dairy. so were extreemly busy this time of year doing service work and finishing up the bin building for the year.

daymn son! my dad farms 1,200 acres of corn and soybeans aswell. all john deere equipment with 2 semi's. hope i get home to help, i sat in the combine all last year and i love doing it. nice to get away from all the stress and combine corn all day :D
