a friend of mine wants to know if you have to relocate the shift pin on 07's? He said he saw on alot of forums that a few guys were relocating their shift pin ???? I have no clue i heard of it but i have an 06 idk.

According to our local dealer,the casing were strenghtened on the K7-but the shift pin relocator can only help.

It wouldn't hurt to do as you can't be to careful. If I had an 07 I would do it for sure. It's not to hard, just take your time. The only specialty tools you will need are an impact wrench, ring clip pliers, and a deep socket 12 mm socket.

I just purchase a left over 07 and was wondering how much labor would go into fixing the shifter pin if someone was to jerk it up?:confused:

Someone did a nice write up on how to do it on www.l t r 4 5 0 h q.com. Just paste all the words together. ANd when you get there, search for "shift pin relocater" and you should be able to find it.

I have seen these for $85.00 shipped and for that price why pass it up? This is a must have part anyways.

ATP engines still recommends it for the 2008 models, so I plan on doing our new 2008 shortly.

go on Walsh's website and they might have a pic....I have one in mine .... Helps from cases breaking
