Well depending on how you grow and how tall you are. My buddy has a yz 85 he is about 5' 4" 110 LBS and it fits him great. So if you're like 5' 4"- 5' 8" you will fit great.;)

Ok well then right now it will suit you great. Pretty fast little bike with a few mods (pipe, silencer, reeds etc...). But if you grow you might be a little too tall. But right now it would be great. Plus if you grow then in a couple of years look into a 125 pinger or a 250 thumper. ;)

FMF Fatty with powercore 2 silencer is a good set up. I like pro circuit a little more but they both are great systems.:D

Night and day different. Its like comparing a 250ex to a 450r. Seriously. Your looking at over double the horsepower, lighter overal package, better brakes, and better suspension. Its a full blown race machine. The question is, for the trails, is that really what you want. It might be a little too wild for trail conditions.

But have you ever tried a pro circuit. I have found all of my buddies pro circuits on there 125 have performed better with the Pro circuit system than the FMF. And also any aftermarket pipe and silencer system is going to perform better than stock. Better flow equals more power.;)

the same guy had a yz85 with the goods and had the PC pipe. the CR85 that i bought had the goods with the fmf pipe. the CR was noticably faster...

No dude I don't got a yz 85. In fact I don't have any 85's or two strokes at all. It is all info I have picked up over the years from friends and of course the crew at exriders forums LOL.:D ;)

so i wont gotta reject on the bike if i put a pipe and silencer?

honda8&3
09-11-2007, 05:28 PM
Well yes you will have to rejet because of how much more flow you are getting with the pipe silencer etc... So I would prolly post a thread in the powertrain section and ask them what jet you should jet your bike with the mods you have/put on your 85. Like I said I have never done or had to rejet so I would ask someone via the powertrain section. OK dude.;) :D
