I plan on using my R for trail riding, mx, and TT/flattrack. Can I use my stock shocks for TT or do I need to get some others specific for TT/flattrack?

Those stockers might be ok for trails & lite MX but will fall short using them on TT.
For flat track or TT you need a short travel shock that is valved for your weight so it will perform correctly.
Works shocks, you will find are the cheapest out of the brands offered.
Works arent the best when it comes to a pro rider but will work well for most levels of riders.
Might could check on e bay for some but then again you might be buying somebodys junk so its just a chance.

We race TT, or as they call it now extreme dirt track & been doing so quite a few years.

thanks neil, I appreciate that. I plan on buying some Elka suspension anyways so do you know if I can get those in a short enough length for TT?

TT just get a sway bar for up front and you don't need shocks for TT.

You just don't want them to have a lot of play, cuz if you get on it and your suspension goes down, you want the power to the ground, not your shocks soakin up all the power.

Don't know where you get that you don't need good shocks that is what is going to make your bike handle good and is all the difference in TT racing

But you don't want the bike to move side to side.

Sway bar man, think about it.

They don't work independently cuz you'll go around turns faster if its all solid.

You need shocks and a swaybar. I never said no swaybar I said you still need good shock with a swaybar
