is it possible to bore a stock 250r cylinder .080 over? if so can you expect any problems?

I Know That Wiseco Pistons Go To .120 , So You Would Be Fine I Would Think.

i believe the 86 goes to .120 over and the 89 only goes to .80 over.

Correction. All years can be bored to .120 over. But you can only buy 86 pistons in .120 over.:D
