I am selling this 1986 TRX250R for a friend. I owned this quad at one time and have a decent bit of knowledge about it. It starts easy and runs out strong. As you can see from the pics and the list of mods this is a nice quad considering it is 21 years old. I have more pics and will be happy to forward them. Also, please ask any questions you might have.

have you had any problems with the motor? And did you buddy do anyhting to the motor as in a rebuild:)

We have never had any problems with the motor. It starts on the first few kicks. I did have the carb and petcock rebuilt. It does occasionally leak some oil around the front sprocket shaft. The owner before me represented that the motor had a fresh top end. It has run so well that we have not needed to tear into the motor.

The shocks were rebuilt this past winter. They probably have only 20 or so hours on them. It also has fresh carrier bearings

What are the specs on the motor? What bore/cc? What type of head? Race gas or pump?
