The XR400 cam isn't even worth it, the power difference is going to be negligible. I would go with a HRC cam if you can find one or an aftermarket such as the Hotcams. Those routes will be much more worth while.

The 450R shocks (when properly revalved/setup) are a good improvement over the stockers. They are a nice middle ground between stock shocks and a top of the line aftermarket setup IMO. This has been discussed in great detail in lots of threads so for more info I would advise you to do a search on the swap ;)
