Is there anything I could do to my 400ex to make it rev out faster? Like lighten the flywheel I guess? But how would I do that?

Yep, they lighten them using a lathe. I think the max you want to take off is 8 ounces.

why do you want it to rev faster?

reving as quick as any 450 or even a Z, KFX, DVX isnt really achievable
