precision stabilizer and aftermarket stem

i am looking to get a precision stabilizer. looking at them in rocky mountain atv catalog they have a notation...."must use stock stem" why is this and has anyone uesd a antivibe stem with one?

I have one on my Houser stem. Some of the aftermarket stems are a different diameter, and the clamp that fits a stock stem won't fit on them. You can call precision and they can tell you which stems the stock size clamp will fit on. I think my Houser took a smaller clamp.
