I'll post some tomorrow
do u still have the lights abd the plastics for it
Lonestar_R
10-17-2007, 03:56 PM
you mean the headlight and the stock hood? Yes and that will go with it. The stock hood won't mount cause the tabs are cut on the fenders. thats why they are on it now
i could then mount the new stock hood and lights back on
or does that mean the stock plastic and lights wont fit anymore
Lonestar_R
10-17-2007, 08:11 PM
the lights will but the hood would need to be zip tied down or something
oh ok so i can put the ligths on with the custom hood
Lonestar_R
10-17-2007, 08:50 PM

Lonestar_R

And the other side
that engine looks beat up a little
Lonestar_R
10-19-2007, 02:05 PM
ok tell me what beat up is? Scratches on the clutch cover? Oh yeah you ride them and it happens. If you want showroom shape at a discount price it isn't going to happen. You either want it or you don't simple as that.
gmc, i have been watching this thread as i am friends with lonestar...my thoughts are is that you really never had any intentions on buying this bike.
you have been looking for any reason to not buy it. if you are nit picking about the clutch cover, you have never actually seen or ridden one of these bikes. that is not bad at all. mine looks exactly like it and my 450r is 4 months newer. i also have the marks on the frame. mine are not as bad as i am shorter and don't run the relocated peg nerfs like he did. if you want a brand new machine, drop the 7 grand for one, if not this is a good deal for what he is asking.
Does he really need to sell this to you, no. He now has other plans for it if you don't buy it. If you buy it, then good, you have a great bike and he sold it.
dont freakout my firends just told me that if thee are markes on the engine it has a lot of hours on it and i will talk your word for it on the bike. it is very clean and nice and i have to wait fopr my parents ok then i can get it.

Lonestar_R
10-20-2007, 10:25 AM
I would sell you it if I could mount the stocker but I can't since the tabs are cut

how many total hours on this bikes motor-- relative to understanding wear and tear on tranny-- any missing shifts or false neutrals-- and did u trail ride it or mx it?????? looking for clean bike to build for nationals 08 bike need stock bike to switch out parts for my 06
Lonestar_R
10-30-2007, 10:50 AM
I'm gonna say estimate probably a total of 80 hours on this bike. I don't even know if there is that many. It was all trail ridden. Never raced. I would say missed shifts very few. I know there were some but I can't give you an exact number. With my understnading of false neutrals it had none. If you have any more questions let me know

4200 for the bike and a PRM Belly Pan, Swinger Skid, and Grab Bar. Yes its legit. I do owe a little on it but it will have a title as soon as I get it from Honda
I am either gonna sell it complete very soon or its gonna get parted out in the very near future

yeah I know....it is a really nice quad. I wanted something different and I really wasn't ever comfortable on it...now my LTR I am very comfy
250x_kyle
11-20-2007, 02:57 PM
i love my friends r I would jump on this if my quad was gone. i feel comfy on the 450r and yfz but havent rode an ltr. its all personal prefrance i guess. its hard selling machines around here nobody will pay what there worth.
Lonestar_R
11-20-2007, 03:33 PM
Its hard selling them cause there is so many of them everywhere. Just not here. My LTR feels like my old 250R and my 450R never did. I didn't like the feel of the YFZ's, and the Honda felt better but not like the 250R

Dude the market is soooo over flooded. I mean my friend just bought an 06 KX250F with Yoshi pipe, wiseco high comp. piston, and full factory connection suspension for 3500! It's mint, hard to sell something for more than 4000 b/c then someone else comes out with a price lower than your own!:chinese: :ermm:
