My 400ex was built by Tom Carlson of TC Racing. It has the 425 kit in it, A Wiseco Piston, TC National Cam, TC lightened crank, TC lightened rotor, and TC shorty Exhaust, along with a hinson clutch basket and hardened rockers. Should I run straight 110 octane or do some sort of mix? I'm racing tomorrow and need an answer fast. Thanks!

since your racing you ought to run 110. however no1 can tell you a solid answer without you giving us ur piston compression

Yep, run 110.

There is a fundamental flaw with mixing. First how accurate is the mix from tank to tank?
GPRACER2500 should help with this point, but I remember reading some where that there is some molecular separation happening in the mixture that is unfavorable.

im not sure on the piston type, I wasnt told. All I was told was it is a wiesco. I have 2 jugs full, One 5 gal. full of 110 and one full of 93. If I would mix, I would measure out one gallon at a time into another jug, then into my tank.

my buddy was running VP U4, $68.00 for 5 gallons, let's do the math.... 68/5= $13.60 per gallon! I think 110 around here is under $6.00 a gallon. VP makes some expensive fuels i know that. You gotta pay to play especially when it comes to having more power than your opponent. but no fuel is worth $13.60 a gallon to me.
