linkage bearing intallation

i was wondering if you could use a big pair if c-clamps to press them in or can you just hammer them into it

I would actually use a vise... thats how I press in all my bearing for swing arms and such.... I can see a C-clamp working also but could be more of a pain in the arse due to leverage and such.

put the gearings in the freezer for a few hours before you do it. They will contract a little and go in easier.
