Photoshop help

well i've never used photoshop up until about a couple days ago. I've always used a program similar to it that i could pretty much do all the same stuff but now im using a mac and i cant figure out who to make word art or whatever you call it. Who wants to help me this time?

I also would like it to be a big header type. Kinda like word art that way i can texturize it with the filters and stuff. Like Akraix's logo.
