06 GT Thunder Linkage to 05

im looking to purchase the GT thunder linkage on ebay..i found one but it is for an 06, will this work on an 05 450r?

I have both linkages and they are VERY different. I would not even try as it will mess with the geometry of your suspension.

Laz makes a linkage to use a shock from an 04-05 quad on an 06-07. If you call him and give him the measurement of your shock he can tell you yes or no. I wanted to keep my 04 long travel elka and put it on my 07 and he said he made a link for it.

if you have the 06 swingarm and 06 shock, and 06 shock arm, yes it will work.

Obviously J/K. The 06+ R's have a different setup.;) :)
