Do you think that would be sweet to have a 400ex motor in a blaster? Or would it be too much power for that little thing? Sounds good to try dont it?:)

Make the blaster a 240cc. 240's can put out 40hp a stock 400ex only has 27hp.

By a 400ex. Much better outcome.

First off, Bajaracer is right. It will be cheaper and easier to just build up the blaster engine, they can put out some decent horsepower.

If you have a line on a cheap 400EX engine, your next best option would be to sell your blaster and buy a 400EX chassis, and have a complete 400EX when you are done. The suspension is much better, the chassis is better, and more aftermarket components.

When racing, it might be an advantage to go the other way, a blaster engine in a 400EX frame. You could race the blaster class with top-notch suspension and handling.

But (me personally), I would never put a 400EX engine into a blaster frame. There are much cheaper and better options out there for projects.
