This motor has about 5 hours on a complete rebuild. I didn't skimp on anything when I built this. This is a very fast, solid, relaible, easy to ride motor, that is every bit as fast (or faster) than any current 4 stroke. This is what I put into the motor with approximate prices.
-ESR330 Powervalve top end and spacer plate - $1600.
-Hinson outer clutch basket - $225.
-New OEM HONDA crank/rod assembly - $300.
-New OEM case bearings - $150.
-New shift shaft, seals, gaskets - $75.
-Cases machined to make room for the good style 330 - $50.
This motor really has 5 hours (or less) on it! The 330 Powervalve cylinder is not ported. You can have your builder port it, or run it the way it is. Eddie Sanders cut me a custom head dome so that the compression is at 160 psi. I did this so that I could SAFELY run the crappy pump gas that we have today. Even with this low compression motor, this thing pulls almost like a 4 stroke in the trees, yet has more top end than most 4 strokes out in the open fields.
You could raise the compression, run race gas, and this motor would be faster than super fast... If you could hang on.
:D
$1600 shipped. As you can see, I spent much more than that building it. I need money for a new project though, so it's got to go!!!
