im looking for the patriots and saints to end up in the superbowl. I may be kinda biased towards the saints but they have a very strong team this year. The colts lost 1/4 of their starters from last season to this season so they are playing on new talent in some spots thus thats what will end up hurting them in the long run.

I would not call myself a Packers fan, but they are one of my favorite NFC teams - if I had to pick one. I really do bleed black and gold - ask any doctor around Pittsburgh - its a medical mystery!

I do have to say of my best NFL experiences was going to Green Bay to see the Steelers play the Packers. :)

Nah - it did not matter what the end result was - although it was nice. There was something about being at Lambo field in the middle of winter surrounded by a bunch of cheese heads - all while rooting for the Steelers. Great group of fans up that way - (as in good people and not a bunch of a-holes).

I think the AFC champion is already gauranteed.(pats) Just some toss up teams in the NFC. But like you said, only halfway through the season!
I love having Tom Brady on my Fantasy Football team :D . (LT also, though hes not pulling off a season like last year)

11-05-2007, 03:33 PM
I've said this since the beginning of the season...

Superbowl will be Packers vs Pats or the Colts (hoping for a huge upset and seeing both the Colts and Pats both losing in the first game of the playoffs.)

Die hard Steelers fan here. They didn't really even have to try though last night thanks to Baltimore. It looked like they were playing a high school team. They've already lost to two teams that they are much better than. They SHOULD be unbeaten just like the Patriots, but they are not and there is a reason for that.

They will make the playoffs, only to lose (for the second time this season) to New England, in the second round.

I think that when the Colts and Pats meet again in the playoffs, the outcome will be different. We stopped the Pats from scoring first (like they have all season), we stopped them from leading at the start of the fourth quarter (like they have all season), we forced Brady to throw as many interceptions in one game as he has all season, etc...Not having one of our top receivers (Marvin Harrison) really hurt us, plus we were missing a couple other key players. It was a close game the entire game and it really could've gone either way. I wasn't at the game, but apparently when Brady was sacked when the Pats first got the ball, fans went nuts and that is the loudest the dome has ever been...GO COLTS!

quads14589
11-06-2007, 11:51 AM
well im sorry to say tho but brady had more passing yards than he did, we outscored you guys in the second half, you couldnt pass the ball in the second half run the ball ect. we turned it on in the second half while you guys went flat and plus we got home field advantage if we do meet again.

We beat you last year in the playoffs and we'll beat you again. At least the Colts are decent people and not a bunch of cheating pu$$ies. The Colts are a much more rounded team. And I'm glad you have the home advantage come playoff time cuz Moss can't play in the cold.

Now I'm not going to disagree with anyone about the Patriots cheating, they DID and it was a very demoralizing and humiliating moment for many New England fans, but to solely focus on the Patriots is unnecessary.
Think of the league wide problem with doping, now is this not cheating or am I just missing something? Also, blatantly stealing signs is no different than stealing signs any other way, and you know that the Patriots are just one of the many teams who did this. Its like saying a kids bad because he got caught for smoking pot, then all the other druggies who have yet to be caught point to this one kid as the biggest criminal. It just don't make no sense. I could go on and on, but I wasn't looking to start anything, and if in the process of ranting flamed on someone I apologize. Rant off.

Let's see....You've got that play...

Then you got the offsides penalty whenever the Ravens stopped the Patriots again on the 4th down right after the timeout. Lucky.

Money put together the Patriots, and determination put together the Packers.

Right now here on the West side of Wisconsin it's a high of -5 today with wind chills -40 or lower. Hopefully it's not that cold in Green Bay. Oh well, the colder it is the better the Packers play!
