Well summer is winding down and we are preparing for our annual Fall Fest at the Breezewood Proving Grounds Motocross Park.

Fall Fest this year will be on the first weekend in October, the 6th and 7th. Everyone knows this is a great time of year to ride with the temperatures starting to fall. Were sure to have a great weekend of riding and camping at the park.

Events planned this year include a kids and pitbike Harescramble race around the park on our new trail. (race is saturday) Saturday night we have a BIG PARTY planned in the indoor pit bike barn. I'm gonna level the track for that weekend and we'll bring in tables and chairs along with plenty of hay to make for a real hoe down. LIVE MUSIC and a DJ will provide the entertainment. We'll provide refreshments, and although alcohol will be permitted it will NOT be provided or sold. SUNDAY we have our final PIG ROAST of the year - we encourage you to donate a dish! There will be hayrides around the park after lunch on Sunday for the entire family to get a birds eye view of the park.

Georgia is a long trip from here, but I've driven there for a GNCC race before, I assure you you'll have a better time traveling here for a weekend of great riding and hanging out. If you make the trip from that far and rent a cabin, I'll let the driver ride and stay for free, make sure you bring friends!

We had a great weekend with a ton of great riders checking out the park for the first time along with all the regulars. Big Jon K. made the 6 hour trip out from NC to ride with us, and we had several riders from Jersey who drove 5 hours. I can't count how many others drove over 3 hours to get here for the weekend. I thank everyone who made it out to support the park and enjoy our 4th annual Fall Fest.

It sounds like everyone liked the new mulch that I tilled into the tracks, along with the new section on the Rhythm track. I hope everyone can make it back out again before the winter weather sets in. Fall is the best time to ride with cooler temps and less dust.

.... I also wanted to let everyone who was worried about Kh426 Sunday Morning that we found him safe and sound ---- passed out in the parking lot after partying too much at the first annual ho-down in the barn. Thanks to everyone who helped put the party together we all enjoyed the band, the dj and the refreshments. I look forward to another ho-down next year.

Dan, we didn't get to say goodbye. We left around 7pm. Thanx for a great time as always. We didn't break any bones just 1 axle, 2 sprokets & I guess the chain should be replaced. The puppy did great. Later we'll post some pix's.

I learned something new this trip - YOU HAVE ICE YIPPEEE
