Ok..iwas thinking about a port and polish job but the idea of a better cam keeps popping up....Which ones are good? I dont want to radically change the power band. What else will I need with this? I plan on an a drilled airbox and Twin Air filter with full exhuast. I think I'm gonna enjoy the filter/exhaust setup for a while then drop the cam in. What kinda of HP gains will I see with a good cam? As of now this thing is a totally stock 01 300EX with approx 600miles on it.
