Not that anyone cares but I thought I would throw this out there just for the heck of it.

Max Power=44.51
Max Torque=30.27

Rossier Exhaust
HRC kit
Airbox lid removed

I dont know if these are good, bad, or average for the few mods I have done but the quad sure seems to run good.

Looks good for the mods you have on it. :)

Nice I hope I can get about the same. Just wondering but are you running the HRC jetting or did you switch. I was just wondering how the main jet worked that they give you with the HRC some say its too lean.

If this is a 04/05 TRX - your numbers are right where most of them are with those mods (or similar).

It used to be a big thing to hit 50 hp with that motor, then as the builders found out where they needed the mods most, a common number for the best motors that stay at 450cc's is about 58 - 60 hp. A number of good builders have hit that at stock displacement. Only problem is, these are full race motors and don't exactly scream "reliable trail motor".

An easy bump for you later is a good 12:1 piston for pump gas. That should add about 3 hp or so across the board. A lot of people port the motor at that point too, and there are a ton of other things you can do - as long as you have some $$$$$$$...

Thanks for posting!

Looks like he is riding an 07 by his name. Should it be greater with that motor?

Ya it is an 07. I am running the HRC jetting with the exception that I switched to a 48 pilot at Rossiers recommendation. But it turned out to be way to rich on the pilot circuit and the guy running the dyno said to go down to at least a 45 if not the stock 42 and I would be safe. It was even a touch rich throught the rest of the range.

Anyways this winter I am planning on a high comp piston and some headwork so we will see what that brings.

Ya I got a printout of the power runs but he did not give me one of the A/F graph. I will try and post what I have later though.

Amir does nice work there in North Bend Oregon at crazy deals. I got 46/30 or close to that on mine but I had the HRC header and baffle, Hot Cam Stage 2, removed the lid on my air box and a 14:1 piston.

I guess I should have looked at you name - I was looking for a sig with your year.

Were dyno tires used? That might explain for lower numbers.

Dyno tires were used, and no I did not rejet or re-dyno. And I do have an HRC cam installed. This was done just on 92 octane pump gas.

For what its worth on this same dyno my friends 2007 suzuki 450 with 13.75:1 piston, head ported by Trinity Racing, Hotcams stage 1 cams, full Yoshi exhaust, airbox removed with a K&N (unsure of the exact intake system) and tuned with a Yoshi Fimak only made 49hp.

So I dont know if the dyno typically reads low or our bikes just dont make power. Either way I know when I drag race on the dunes I beat most people I race.
