how good are 450s

how good are 450s? are the old yfz 450s and 450rs that much better than the new z450 and kfx450 that they are worth the extra money? what is your favorite 450? i am thinking of a left over 07 but i want a kfx, is it worth the extra money?

450's are really nice quads with a lot of power. Keep in mind these are machines made to be raced and need to be maintained very well in order to last a good bit. The 450 That I like the most is the ltr 450. Its got really good throttle reponse and pretty good power stock. Plus if you race just throw some nerfs and a kill switch on it and your good to go. I have heard some good things about the kawi's though. If I were you try to find people with the quads you mentioned and ride them to find which one matches your liking. Then just go from there.

lol j/j man, i like the 450's. I rode a yfz 450 and a 450r and they are both very nice. As soon as I get my money situated im getting a new ltr 450. Ive heard to put a cherry bomb and remove the baffle and its a whole new ride

my town is a honda advertisement, i think there are about 5 yamahas, rest hondas. i have rode 450rs alot amazing bikes, but i have heard good things about the others

i know my yfz is light years better than my 400ex, the 400ex feels like a big heavy pig on the mx track but its more fun to do everyday riding on and i use it to practice, i think hte yfz is probably the most reliable of the 450s if left stock, and out of the box i think the yfz has the best power on a mx track, if your going for hp, i hear the honda is the way to go, but there all high maintenence everything else is preference, i know the ltr power is very smooth, its almost like dirtbikes , its just rider preference they all do things a lil differently
