Beadlock question

Are there any disadvantages to running beadlocks on the trails? I have come across a sweet deal on a set of almost new ITP Pro beadlocks and Holeshot XCR's. I am going to be running a few XC races next year and these tires/wheels will be my trail/practice/snow/backroad cruising combo. I am going to get a different set for the races, but this deal is almost too good to pass up. How often do you have to tighten the beadlocks? Someone school me...I know nothing about them.

There aren't any disadvantages to trail riding with beadlocks that I can think of.

I've used Douglas & Hiper beadlocks and never had the ring bolts loosen up on either one.
