ive been looking for quite a while but i cant find any used 86-87 style aftermarket -1" swingarms. it seems like every swingarm for sale is an 88-89. can anyone help me out?

There is a lonestar on ebay now. Don't know if it's a -1 though.

if your getting it just for length, then buy the 88/89 swingarm. They are 1" shorter than 86/87 swingers. Im assuming that it doesnt matter about the rear mount.

Yeh, can't you just get a stock 88/89 swinger, I think they hook up the same, and the shock linkage should work, then just reset the chain.

if you put a 88/89 on an 86/87 you loose the rear motor mount. Not good and will over stress the other motor mounts (cracks). There was a used Houser 86 style, -1" but the guy wouldnt budge from a $450 reserve. I assume he still has it...

if you are going to use an 88/89 you need to fab up some rear motor mounts....

have someone chop your stocker. I have a stock -2" for my banshee. I don't know exactly who did it, I bought it used. Who ever chooped/welded it did a really good job cause I have beat it.
