Please Help

I have a 99 400ex and i was riding at a track and i went back to the truck to fix my handguard, and when i tried to start it again it almost started, then it just died. Now when i try to start it it wont even turn over, but i can pop start it and it runs fine. Also the nuetral light comes on, but the headlights wont come on at all. I cant figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Battery. Give it a charge, and let us know what happens.

i did that and it still doesnt start. i though maybe something was unhooked but why does the nuetral light work?

is it making a noise when you press the start button.. could be a loose wire in the controls.. check over your wiring to see if anything came loose, cut or fried..
