Front shock buckled!

Well today I got my throttle cable installed at my mechanics house. So it was on and I decided to take it for a ride down his road to see how the thing was runnin. My mechanic wasn't home at the time I had just rode by on my dirt bike and saw it outside. so i rode down the rode and down a trail. I was coming back and rode a wheelie for a bit and landed and my left front shock buckled right where the bushing connects to the shock an the lower bushing. I parked and rode home VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYY pissed off.:grr: :mad: So I brought it home later on and took my shocks off. Guess its time for a new set of front shocks LOL.:cool:

that sucks,,, same thing happened to me about a year ago, so i decided to go for the full 400ex front end

Sorry dude already ordered a new set off of ebay for like 180 shipped. There off of an 04 300ex. They look pretty new. I buy a lot of my parts off of ebay from the same guy. But thanks anyway man. kinda wish I would have gone with a set of works without rezzies for 350 but hey tomaorrows another day. LOL:p

Dude the PRM Desert is bar none the best grab bar. I've had the quad up on its grab bar prolly 5 times since on and nothing but a scratch.:cool: It is great for lifting the quad up to. It is also a great seat LOL.:p Definetly worth the 65 dollars or whatever I payed for it. You will like it .

You spent 160 for 300ex shocks! dang dude. You could have upgraded to a whole 400ex front end. Why didnt u do that?

I had the same thing happened with my front right shock years ago. That tiny spot weld on the bottom of the shock is plain bad engineering. I can't beleive that they haven't fixed that glaring weakness yet. Ok maybe I can beleive it.. lol.

Dude I don't want to be pucking around with stuff that "Doesn't go on a 250x/300ex" because I just want a replacement for now. In a year I plan on a front end overall involving TCS performance shocks. plus 400ex shocks supposably suck anyway. Just an easy fix for a year replacement part.;)

Thanks dude. Just don't want to spend the money for "better shocks" when I will just upgrade in less than a year anyway.

Wow buying shocks for a little bit more money than most may cost and now I am a deuch bag. And this is coming from a guy who comes on someones thread and calls a person out for paying for something when I explained why I bought these instead of a higher performance.
